Having the blessing to design a civic project in the City of Coral Gables with the historic plan designed by George Merrick and many of the very talented architects, Phineas Paist, Degarmo and many more. The owner wanted a five-story building that was both classical and had influences of historic Parisian Buildings. The main façade includes a pedestrian loggia, the main entrance with a triumphal arch and the exit of the bank’s drive thru.

Our goal as architects was to design a civic building with details grounded in history of classicism that respond to the edge of the street and that would allow future building to fit in the context of the urban fabric, as well as giving the building a base with human proportions.
